Tiku Roemello Fisher, also known as Mello, is a media producer with over two decades of experience across film, visual effects, and media production. He has acted in indie films, directed and produced short films, and worked in post-production visual effects on major productions such as Indiana Jones and the Dial of DestinyThe Mandalorian, and Black Panther. Having contributed to more than 30 feature films and episodic series.

As the founder of TRFMEDIA and Get Yo Hand Out My Pocket Films, Mello continues to produce innovative, story-driven media that bridges art, culture, and social consciousness. His work extends into mental health advocacycultural education, and youth engagement, using storytelling as a tool for healing, empowerment, and liberation.

In collaboration with the Toronto Pan Afrikan Film Festival (TPAFF), Mello plays a key role in advancing Pan-African storytelling and amplifying underrepresented voices in cinema. His recent work on the documentary a SMALL book, featuring Professor James Small, explores the influence of Black mythology and African retentions in shaping identity, culture, and self-awareness.

Mello was featured in an exclusive CTV News interview with Andria Case, alongside his partner L.A. Wade, where they discussed a SMALL book and the role of independent filmmaking as a vital space for authentic storytelling and cultural expression.

Committed to international collaboration, Mello seeks to connect artists, educators, and communities across the Caribbean, Africa, and the diaspora, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and sustainable creative industry development through film and media.
